Arboleda is in quite an
advantaged spot with a relatively rare transition of mountains and river
to coast, delta and beach in Tarragona, the most southern of the Catalan
provinces. The lodges are close to Sant Carles de la Rąpita, which is a
Mediterranean coastal town set on a bay at the southern tip of Catalonia
on the river Ebro delta.
The Alfacs bay is the largest natural port in
Europe and one of the most popular boating resorts on the Mediterranean
as it is nearly enclosed by a long sand spit which acts as a natural
breakwater. |
